My husband and I go to Rocketship every couple of weeks to check out what's new. The store is a great example of the new way to run a comics shop, or a bookstore: open layout, good displays, good music, original art on the walls, and a friendly vibe. And they have cool artists and writers for events all the time! Even though I work in a bookstore with a good graphic novels section, I often end up buying something irresistible at Rocketship, and I always learn something. On weekends we usually get to chat with Alex, the supernice and knowledgeable owner, about our recent favorites, what we're looking forward to, or comics/book biz news. We're so glad to have the shop in our neighborhood!
