OK, I know everyone swears their local pizza joint is the best, and I know many great places. Patsy's in harlem, Louie and Ernie's in the Bronx, etc. BUT, there is something very addictive about a Romeo's slice. His sauce is unique and also outstanding, I don't know his secret, but I do know he puts saffron in it!

The portions are huge, everything is made to order, and he has a very eclectic drink selection. My favorites- a spinach and tomato roll, eggplant roll, or just a slice with anchovies and black olives on it... Best of all his prices are very reasonable for this area.

The place is decorated "a la Texas Taco" with hand painted swirls of colors and sparkles everywhere, and he always has some good sounds playing. My advice, stop by and try a slice! It's the only place I go for 'za in mid-westchester...
