Historic old theater in Davis Square shows first- and second-run movies at a lower price than the chains and also hosts live music, comedy, and other performances. Also one of the venues for the Independent Film Festival of Boston and home to the Museum of Bad Art. Probably the only theater in the Boston area that serves draft beer.
