A great service to the community
When I walked into The Country Bookseller for the first time, I knew I was in a place where book lovers congregate. The sales assistant was chatting with customers about an upcoming cookbook book signing and ideas and comments about various books were excitedly exchanged. A great coffee bar and pastries give The Country Bookseller a homey feel. I chatted with the owner, who was very helpful and friendly. I was thrilled for the personalized service. Highly recommended.
The most dependable bookstore around!
Back in 2006, I attended a local event, the annual book and author luncheon at Bald Peak, arranged by the Wolfeboro library. I won a gift basket full of goodies but after the event realized that the basket was missing several autographed books from the author's in attendance. I contacted the library days later and they sent me over to The Country Bookseller. Amazingly, Karen--the owner--was able to supply me with the books I so desperately desired. Autographed, too!
Needless to say, whenever I visit Wolfeboro, I also visit The Country Bookseller. You should as well!
