Mixed Role Calendars
The first thing I do when I move to a new town (which is pretty often) is find a bookstore that carries Mixed Role Productions student calendars (www.mixedroleproductions.com). This is it for Des Moines, and it's a always a treasure hunt (in a good way) when I go in to buy them. I've had these great, independently-produced calendars since I started college in 1993, and they're a great reminder of where I was and what I did all lined up on my bookshelf.
