Wyn Morris is very supportive of local writers. When my spouse, Gwen Mayo, was looking for a local bookstore to carry her novel, published by a tiny press in Nebraska, Wyn Morris was willing to take a chance when other area stores were not. He put her novel, Circle of Dishonor, in the 'local' section in the front of the store.

He also carries other books that the chain stores don't, some of them autographed. I've begun directing my friends to try his store first... The Morris Book Shop was a great find for us.
