The Bookstore, which is open to the general public, boasts over 40,000 general interest books

We exist to assist the learning process and enrich the McMaster and local community and to generate income for the department of Student Affairs. Our gross margin is 23.2% which goes towards the normal cost of doing business such as rent, salaries, utilities, interest charges, telephone and office equipment (all the costs any business pays) -- money made at the store is used to enhance student services and scholarships funds at McMaster University, further enriching the student experience on campus.
