With the first year behind us, Towson Arts Collective is looking forward to the next phase of our organization. With the success of exhibits, classes, poetry readings, plays, workshops and a yearly arts festival, our mission is being achieved and the growing arts community is thriving. Beyond your overwhelming support and enthusiasm, the IRS was even kind enough to acknowledge and encourage our growth by giving us status as a Non-Profit Organization.

In the spectrum of accomplishments that distinguish a culture, people look toward the arts as the pinnacle of abstract reasoning and the gauge of intellectual progress. Creative expression then becomes the dipstick and plume to show the health of a community. Whether this is shown through a group of individuals working together on a stage-play or the self-discovery of an audience member relating to the words of a poet or someone finding renewed love in painting, the arts actively contributes to the intellectual, economic, emotional and social well being of a community. We feel gratitude and validation as a group to build and maintain that vehicle which aids in reinvigorating the soul of a society, nourishes the intellect of individuals and cradles the hearts of all those that believe that creativity is the source of innovation that drives all humankind forward.
