Tumbleweeds Bookstore is a women owned and operated local bookstore in the heart of Bon Air, in Richmond Va. It is a small store with a lot of loyal customers who keep coming back! Since it is a small store, I hand pick all of my books. I only trade paperbacks and trade backs 2 for 1. I love beautifully illustrated childrens books, local interest books and the older classics. I have a wonderful selection of new fiction but also have authors like Phillip Roth, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, and Jack Kerouac. As I am a member of the baby boomer and hippie generation, I have some of the children's series such as Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Tom Swift, Donna Parker, Bobbsey twins and Wizard of Oz.
We are a fully recycling shop. We give new life to used books, use recycled bags and recycle all our trash. We also clean every used book that comes into the store.
