A gem of an old fashioned bookstore
This is the kind of bookstore that makes you wish it was raining. It's very aura says "I'm full of wonderful treasures. Explore me!"
Growing up, my family went through Port Townsend every summer for vacation. We always made a point to stop at the kayak-up fish and chips place, and we always spent time in William James. I bought my first copy of The Voyage of the Beagle here.
