Annie's celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2007, and was chosen Bookseller of the Year for 2008 by Romantic Times Book Review Magazine.

We're a small (1300 square feet) indie bookstore, specializing in gently-read paperbacks, although we also carry new books and will happily special-order for our customers. New books are sold at a 20% discount off the cover price and used books go for approximately half the cover price. Readers can bring in their own paperbacks and receive a credit; the credit is applied for up to one-half of the total pre-read book purchase - makes reading a much less-expensive hobby! Our books are separated into categories and filed by author, so things are easy to locate. There are large selections of SF/Fantasy, Mystery, and romance novels, along with non-fiction, children's, young adults', thrillers, horror, and bestsellers.

We also carry greeting cards (mostly from Leanin' Tree), postcards, book marks, book lights, book holders (seeing a trend here...) and small toys and gifts. The store is a popular stop for the schoolkids - they love our selection of candy!

We're in a small strip plaza just a mile and a half off Rte. 95. Sharon is about half-way between Boston and Providence, so we have the joys of country living combined with the proximity of big-city amenities.

We welcome local authors for signings; we've also had a few "imports" from out-of-state like Mary Stella, Rosemary Laurey, Tori Carrington, Ralph Pezzullo, and Walter Zacharius. We've also hosted NYT bestselling authors like Suzanne Brockmann.

We sell books online through ABEbooks.com, Alibris, and Biblio, as well as by direct inquiry, and are more than happy to handle mail-orders for our more-distant friends.
