Caballo Press of Ann Arbor is an independent publisher located in Southeastern Michigan. We were established in 2008. We publish adult & children books related to a variety of topics related to horses and thoroughbred horse racing. We have one book in print! Yes! Friends call us a one-horse barn. But, our first book, The Untold Story of Joe Hernandez: The Voice of Santa Anita won the prestigious 2008 Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award, an award that recognizes Thoroughbred Horse Racing's Book of the Year. The award is sponsored by Thoroughbred Times and Castleton Lyons. In the coming year, we will publish 3 to 5 books. We are a young publisher; we understand the importance of developing a strong and long lasting relationship with indie bookstores and their patrons. We are also committed to community. We freely give to a number of causes related to horses and horse racing. Please support our efforts.
