I am a retired teacher who now owns two bookstores- along with my husband. Though mostly used books, Bay Books has two locations that are both very large- 4,000 square feet and 6,000 square feet- and full of books, books, books. We buy a large quantity of books from our customers every day, except Sunday in San Ramon. Our stock is constantly changing from day-to-day- so the store has an interesting mix of books for every taste. New bestsellers are also available- especially paperbacks. Often we have used copies of those bestsellers but we do supplement with new books, at a 10% discount, when we can't get enough used copies.
