About Me:
I am the Publisher/Editor of a funky little zine called Gonzo Parenting. It's all about parenting, from the parents' point of view. You won't find any didactic, dull articles in Gonzo Parenting... Every issue reads like a mini-anthology, full of personal essays by parents "in the trenches."
Check out Gonzo Parenting's website for more about us and submission guidelines.
Gonzo Parenting is available at:
Riverwalk Books in Chelan, Washington
Orondo Cider Works off Hwy. 97 in Orondo, Washington
Quimby's in Chicago, Illinois
Women and Children First in Chicago, Illinois
Urban Think! Bookstore in Orlando, Florida
I am a founding member of the literary performance group and online blogzine, Motherhood: From Egg to Zine (and everything in between).
I also write and publish the bi-weekly column, The Gonzo Mama, which chronicles my adventures in "extreme parenting." Not everyone can have seven children and keep a respectable level of sanity.
Currently, I serve on the Chelan Library Advisory Board, am active in Chelan Friends of the Library, am a board member of Financial Literacy is Essential (FLIE), and am a substitute librarian. Oh, and I have a completed novel manuscript sitting on my desk, waiting to be edited. Yeah... books are pretty much my life... :)

I like it.
Thanks for pointing the way... do you know her? Do you wanna give her a gentle nudge toward submitting something for the zine?

Hi!
Thanks for adding me to your friends list!
Any interest in link exchange? My web site --- www.localshops1.com -- is all about supporting locally owned, independent stores. All indies get free listings, and I hope to start selling banner ads and other marketing services. But basic listings with description, address, link to web site if they have one, and map will always remain free.
And of course, free to browse

Oh... I am totally interested! I am in the process of trying to get my website set up over the next month, so let's keep in touch!
