THE SOUTHEAST & PIEDMONT, a LITERARY FIELD GUIDE & chapters to
THE FLORIDA HANDBOOK

In 2010, I am priviledged to present to young readers the
story of a woman who as a child was straddling two cultures & because of that her life was threatened.

She is Betty Mae Tiger Jumper and the book is
SHE SANG PROMISE,
from National Geographic Children's Books,
with an afterword by Moses Jumper, Jr.
with keepsake illustrations from
Lisa Desimini

Take a creative writing class offered by a campus writing program
or an arts center. Listen to what they say. Follow your heart.
