About Me:
I Love to read!! I used to stay up late at night under the covers with a flashlight and a good book. Now I'm equally at home in bookstores and on top of beautiful mountains. I'm addicted to hoodies and chocolate (and if there was such a thing as a chocolate hoodie, i might think i was in heaven :)) I'm a literacy coach so I spread the love of reading daily to young people and adults in Boston. Trees are my friends, as are cats and people with awesome laughs. I am involved in a fringe theatre company, which i fondly call my "second, non-paying job!" I direct, act, dance. I'm a good listener and know where all the best bookstores in Boston are! I am just getting into graphic novels (woo-hoo!). I love learning and I am passionate about lots of things.

Hi Ruth! I am sifting
Hi Ruth!
I am sifting through my brain to think of the bookstore you might be thinking of and am not sure!! The first one to come to mind is the Brattle Bookstore on West street, which is right near the common, but it doesn't feature new books. Their link is: http://www.brattlebookshop.com/
The other bookstore I think of is Trident Bookseller, which is kind of near the common, but on Newbury street, which does have cute shops, but it's not a small street!http://www.tridentbookscafe.com/NASApp/store/IndexJsp
Those are the two ones closest to the common. Perhaps the one you are thinking of is no longer there, or (gasp!) perhaps I don't know about it!!
I like your blog! Thanks for the link!
Take care,
Sarah (mzcupcake)

Chocolate Hoodie
I could seriously go for a chocolate hoodie!
Maybe you could help me track down an indie bookstore I visited a few years ago in Boston. All I can remember is that it was in or near Boston Common, along a street lined with wonderful little shops, and it had a focus on new books. Sound familiar at all?
