‘Toured world as concert pianist, conductor, vocalist, composer-speechwriter, comedy, academia’

Portland, Oregon

Website: Fables of the Carpailtin Campfire

About Me:

I have toured much of the world as a concert pianist, symphony and opera conductor, singer and composer, but have also worked as a political speech, comedy and academic writer (Whitman, Harvard, Hopkins, UCLA), turning more recently to fiction writing, and falling in love with it.
Am interested in writing fantasy novels that, although sharing some archetypal characters with standard works of the genre, their responses are different and their characters and relationships broaden throughout the story. It should speak to our lives as well. I create a world where every age has an advantage and beauty, the elderly can be super-heroes, the young can be heard and racial/gender disrespect has immediate and educational consequences.
Having released Shindaheen, Fire and Iceland and Three Roads to Waitsburg, the fourth and final volume (untitled) will be released in October, along with a textbook on Mahler's 'Fifth' Symphony. How's that for things that don't go together?
I have fallen in love with the Carpailtin characters, and if enough people want another sequel, I'll hold a cast meeting and see if everyone's good to go for it. Meanwhile, all blessings to all of you, and may you enjoy whatever it is that you're reading.
