About the Author
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Dan Milstein and his family relocated to the United States in 1991. After receiving his bachelor's degree with honors in business management and finance, and with his knowledge of the industry firmly in place, he found himself quickly moving up the ranks of the banking industry. He quickly worked his way to chief operating officer, and finally, chief executive officer in various financial institutions. He is CEO of Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group, which currently stands as one of the top mortgage brokerages in the United States. Gold Star has rapidly grown to over four hundred employees, thriving in a financial job market that is dwindling as a whole. Gold Star now operates twenty-six branch offices throughout the country. Since 2005, revenues have increased 730% and Gold Star is currently closing over $1 billion in loans annually.
