About the Author

Commissioned by Oliver Stone as a screenplay, The Voice originated with our journalistic adventures in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation of the 1980s. It grew into an investigation of the esoteric connection between Crusaders, Afghan holy warriors, the CIA and their pursuit of the Holy Grail. As a member of the same Fitzgerald family as JFK, Paul's interest originally lay in the journey of his Anglo-Norman ancestors to Ireland in 1170 A.D. This history pitted the Royal houses of Europe against one another and over the centuries produced continued conflict between the house of Geraldine and the Royal family of England. Through our dreams and understanding of myth and synchronicity, we have reconstructed the past and its meaning for the future. We looked behind the veil of secrecy, probed the network of ancient families and discovered a "truth" behind the movement of history that Dan Brown couldn't dream up.
