What test should you take? One competitive test for future math majors is the advanced placement Calculus test, however, many excellent students augment that with the SAT Math 2 test to show further interest in this specialty. High school students who did not have the AP experience are encouraged to take the SAT Math 2 test if their intended college requires it.
