Working their way through the Lower World, the group of women are tested before they reach the realm in the Lower World where Persephone lives six months out of the year. It is in this realm where the spirit of Clover's mother lives, having become a worshiper of the Greek goddess back when she was alive, and living with her husband and daughter.
