About the Author

Ellen Kline McLeod lives in South Carolina with her husband and children. She holds degrees from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and Loyola University Maryland's Graduate School of Education. She stirs together a childhood in rural Georgia, past careers in advertising and teaching middle school, marriage, motherhood, and a deep love of words to cook up poetry, short stories, and an under-construction novel. Ellen's work is published at Literary Mama, vox poetica, and Referential Magazine (all available online).
