After Covid-19 ends, sixteen-year-old Theo yearns for her life to get back to normal. Instead, her mother plans to move her from Chicago to a small, sleepy town in the Midwest. Her best friend warns her she is heading to a redneck land, where people's knuckles scrape the ground, so it is with some trepidation that Theo arrives at her family's Minnesotan fishing resort.
