About the Author

This is HMS's second annual print journal. Within the last twelve months, Hypertext has not only published two print journals but has also become a nonprofit organization: Hypertext Magazine & Studio (HMS). True to our original mission, Hypertext Magazine and Hypertext Review will continue to publish established and emerging writers side by side-online and in print. In addition to this, the professional writers and teachers at Hypertext Studio are now dedicated to teaching writing and storytelling techniques to communities directly impacted by violence, people who are rebuilding their lives after being incarcerated or recovering from addiction or abuse, or any underserved community whose collective voice has been marginalized in any way. What's more, our established online and print platforms give us the ability to publish social service clients' work-both online or in print.
