Lane Smith. Es un escritor e ilustrador estadounidense. Vive actualmente en Connecticut.

A boy, a penguin colony, the glow of jellyfish, a path of shells, a journey home. The hero of this story is a wild boy who, for reasons unknown, lives with a flock of goats. One day, he leaves the group in search of his own identity. On the way, he meets other animals (penguins, jellyfish, whales, crows, and more). The boy develops a sense of empathy with all these creatures; he feels happy and accepted among all of them. Still, it’s not until he encounters a tribe of human beings that he’s able to establish deep bonds.
