Out now, the Indie Next List for July!

We have book trailers for The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives by Lola Shoneyin, and Michelle Hoover's The Quickening.

Listen to NPR interviews with Adam Ross, on his debut novel Mr. Peanut, and The Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee on her memoir I Know I Am, But What Are You?

Lots of highly anticipated books on this month's list! Tana French's third Dublin murder squad novel Faithful Place, What Is Left the Daughter by Howard Norman, the new David Mitchell novel The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet, Savages by Don Winslow, and Carolyn Parkhurst's The Nobodies Album are just a few.

Find the printed list at an independent bookstore near you. We're also offering a print-at-home version, found on the Indie Next List page directly beneath the carousel of titles, so you can read at home and take it to your local indie.

Happy reading!

Ape House by Sara Gruen

Just finished the advance reader's edition of Ape House. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Sara Gruen writes another novel that touches the heart and explores the range of human emotions including those of the wonderful bonobo apes. A completely compelling read that, as a bookseller, I will recommend without reservation when it is released this September. Well done! Thank you, Sara Gruen.
