Reviews
"This slim book, whose intellectual weight thoroughly belies its modest page count, works on three quite different levels: first, as practice book for a simple introduction to some of the most useful everyday exercise forms attached to the Chinese medical tradition, second, as an exposition and celebration of the roots of that tradition and the culture which gave rise to it, and third, and by no means least, as an evolutionary development of that tradition. ... It is highly recommended for those who want to improve their health, particularly in the face of chronic illness or the natural depredations of aging, but also it should be of serious interest to all those who practice Chinese medicine and/or martial arts."
