Great selection and very
Great selection and very friendly staff. The past few times I've been there I've taken my book list and managed to find exactly what I was looking for. Author signings seem to be expanding because of the new Oconomowoc Arts Center which is located at the high school not too far from the bookstore. Barbara Delinsky (whose fans would never have fit into the store) was featured at the Arts Center during the late winter. Now that the Schwartz shops in Milwaukee have closed I'll be visiting Books & Company more often.

This is the BEST merchandised independent I have run across in the many states I have lived - including: Alabama, West Virginia, Maine, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, the atmosphere is everything a bluestocking looks for in a book haven, and there is a connecting door to a coffee shop! PERFECT!!
