Famous for a reason

I know City Lights is famous, but I love it simply because it's a great bookstore. Skinny aisles, stacks of wonderful reads, and situated smack in the heart of San Francisco, I can never skip a visit to this shop when I'm in the Bay Area.

Beat Literature Galore

I thought I knew all about Beat Literature until allowing myself to lose all track of time in City Lights Books and re-educating myself by slowly wandering through its extensive catalogue of title and having a truly awesome time. This is the place where I would want to buy the new Burroughs/Jack Kerouac rediscovery but may not be able to wait until making the trip.

Bright Skylark Literary Productions offers such fine titles as: Encyclopedia of the Harlem Renaissance (Facts on File); ELEMENTAL, The Power of Illuminated Love; The Bridge of Silver Wings 2009; Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World; and I Made My Boy Out of Poetry.
