One-of-a-kind bookstore

Copperfield's (Montgomery Village) is just the best! I love meeting local authors in this great store. (At one booksigning I witnessed a dog actually reading!) This is a true community business...supported by and for local people. They not only have books ... they also have a wonderful assortment of greeting cards and gifts...they even giftwrap! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Why would I shop anywhere else?

I'm a little bias because I used to work here... actually, maybe that makes me a little prejudice. Anyway, this bookstore is amazing and has such a great staff. It has a huge selection of craft books, especially knitting and crochet. They sometimes put relationship books in the Women's Issues section (a huge no-no in my book) but I think they are picking up on that. They always have a great selection of remainders, probably the best I've seen. I always love to peak in every time I am in town just to see what is new. And if you think they are a good bookstore you will not believe the amazing selection of non-book items to chose from. You'd never know you were in a book store with all of the great non-book merchandise laying around. Oh, how I miss you Copperfield's!
