I can't say enough about what this book store means to me. The staff members greet me enthusiastically then leave me to browse. They seem to have ESP about when I want help, because they're right there when I do. It is very unusual for me to not find a book I'm interested in reading, but when that happens, they get it for me within a few days. They welcome the best authors for book-signing events (not just available authors). I browse the store windows, when I'm just passing by, to find out about upcoming events, as well as to see current books and features of the month. I also get this information from mailings and e-mailings. Over several years, the people at Left Bank Books and Spike, the bookstore cat, have become my best friends in the neighborhood. By knowing my reading habits, they know me better than almost anyone else. I am proud to support my local Indie!
