My husband is an independent retailer. He owns a lovely gift shop in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. As students at Moravian College, we would often walk down Main Street, and look in the shops. Life circumstances separated us after college, but 15 years later, it was HIS shop that I stumbled into, while walking on our beloved Main Street.
Blue Cactus, his gift shop, enabled us to reconnect, rediscover and relive our affection and love for one another, and we continue to do so. Happily married, I am eternally grateful for my husband's return to Bethlehem to pursue his dream of owning a gift store in the town where we grew up and fell in love (not once, but twice!) together.
