Barrett Bookstore

Barrett Bookstore is located in downtown Darien, Connecticut. Founded in 1939, we are the oldest and largest independent bookseller in Fairfield County with 3,000 square feet of retail space and accessible, convenient parking. Besides a well curated selection of adult books in all genres, we have a large Children's Department. We also carry an excellent selection of greeting cards, and quality stationery products. Other sidelines include puzzles, educational games, and book related gifts. With a strong emphasis on community outreach, we partner with many local not for profits, schools, and local organizations to host events featuring authors and their work.
