Books & Books

Since opening in 1982, Mitchell Kaplan has encouraged book lovers to browse our extensive collection of fine fiction, art and architectural books, poetry, classics, nonfiction, best sellers, children's and cookbooks. We have four stores in the Miami area; our flagship store in Coral Gables is the home to The Cafe at Books & Books. Books & Books presents over 400 author events per year, both in person and online. And, Mitchell is one of the founders of The Miami Book Fair, which takes place each year in November.
