Chaucer's Books is an independent, locally owned, overstocked bookstore located on upper State Street in Santa Barbara, CA that has been a mainstay for book-lovers near and far since 1974. We carry north of 150,000 titles and will happily do anything we can to swiftly procure books for you that we don't currently carry in stock. We're committed to providing our community with an impressive depth and breadth of texts in any and all subjects, as well as excellent customer service (including recommendations from our well-read staff).
