Sankofa Video and Books

Sankofa Video, Books sells material about people of African descent globally, a cultural hub for investigating and celebrating black culture. The Cafe adds delicious fare to the experience, with smoothies and wraps named after filmmakers of color. Our events feature known and unknown authors, a launching pad for fresh writers, artists and musicians. We have the greatest number of children’s books in the area featuring children of color, eloquent text and verse, and fabulous illustrations.
